Free tickets to a great Christmas Concert

November 18th 2009, by

london-st-johns-smith-square_2We donate wine to The Children’s Trust for the reception following their famous Christmas concert in London each year. The charity has always kindly offered us some free tickets in return (as well as a full page slot in the programme), and as we can’t make the trip from Bordeaux, why not give them to customers?

The Children’s Trust Christmas Carol Concert will be held on 1st December in the magnificent Hall of St.John’s, Smith Square in Westminster. It should be a fine start to the Christmas season. More details of the concert here.

St.John’s, Smith Square is a few minutes walk from Westminster tube. The concert will start at 7.30pm and the post-concert party will run from 8.30pm to 10.30pm. Tickets are on sale at £50 each from The Children’s Trust website, but we have 4 pairs to give away now in a free prize draw.

Simply put your name into the hat by adding a comment below (we just want your first name(s) and email address really, not kind words), or send an email to gavin@bauduc.com called ‘Concert draw’. The draw will be this Sunday 22nd November at midday and we’ll email all entrants with the result. The Children’s Trust will send the tickets to the lucky winners on Monday.

If you would like to go the Concert, but would rather wait to see the result of the draw before buying tickets, we will let you know the result by Monday 23rd and we can make sure, if you have entered, that you can still buy tickets from the Children’s Trust.

Update: the Result

p1040437On Sunday, we put 27 slips of paper into a dish, with each one having a number on to represent one of the entries. Each of our four children then picked out a number.

The winners, who have all now confirmed that they can still make the concert, are Brenda Lattimer (who entered by email), Fergus McMullen, Sylvia Hamilton and Peter Goodeve. Congratulations and have a brilliant evening.
